Hello, and welcome to the Restaurant Success Podcast. I'm Matthew Mabel, veteran restaurant advisor, coach, consultant, and speaker devoted to multi-unit independent restaurant unit, profit and revenue growth, internal harmony and ownership freedom and flexibility.
This is your weekly entree of the advice, strategy and tactics that I currently provide to my best clients.
Today we're doing something a little different with an abbreviated podcast where I want to talk about what I'll be up to this weekend at the Texas Restaurant Show. I'll share why this event is such a valuable opportunity for restaurant owners and operators, and I'll tell you about the two sessions I've been asked to speak at on Sunday.
The Texas Restaurant Show is really a premier event in our industry.
It's an incredible opportunity to connect with your peers, explore more than five hundred booths featuring cutting-edge products and services, and gain invaluable insights through three days of educational sessions led by top professionals and business leaders. This is the second-largest restaurant show in the country, and they typically get about fifty-five hundred operators who come to learn, network, and have some fun outside of the show floor.
On Sunday, July twentieth, I've been asked to speak at two sessions, and I'm really excited about both of them. The first one is called "Increasing Your Restaurants' Performance." It's presented by restaurantowner.com, and I'll be talking about the most powerful basic strategies right now. We're going to cover people, numbers, menu tech, and growth related issues. This session is at twelve thirty PM on the Profit Lab stage right on the show floor.
Then, I catch my breath, and do my stretches before a one forty-five panel on the same stage.
This one's part of an all-star team discussing "Give It the Gas: Growing Your Business, Your People and Your Profits TODAY."
The panel is going to go deep into business growth strategies for twenty twenty-five, covering finance, real estate, and people.
I always tell people to bring their thoughts and questions when they come to these events. I'd love to hear from you, and these sessions are really interactive opportunities.
